Image
I t is accepted that movie and television are influence to the people's behavior ,both for better or worse. Nowday, movies and television become one of the most popular type of entertainment . We can get knowledge and current situation all over around the world from TV. We can learn many new things from movies and television . They give us performance to relax.  First, television and movies are very benefit for us because we can get current situation and knowledge early. For example we are facing world pandemic. It is spreading throughout tje world. If we want to het current situation and some information of a country, just turn on television and open news channels such as BBC, RFA ,CNN. Then, we can know how many peole are with corona virus and how to protect the virus. If there are some imminent natural disasters such as strom, earthquake we can know and prepare ourself for stuck situation. The effect on people's lives from that damage will be less.   Second, we can learn man

Sex and Gender

Image
Today I learnt about sex and gender from an online class. What I learnt is the meaning of gender and sex.  ‘’ Sex’’ refers to the biological differences between males and females, such as the genitalia and genetic differences. It is primarily associated with physical and physiological features including chromosomes gene experience , hormone levels and function, and reproductive / sexual anatomy .Generally sex never change whenever we are. But some people are not satisfied with original sexes. So they change gene sex.                     Gender refers to the socially constructed roles, behavior, expressions and identities of girls, women, boys, men, and gender diverse people. It influences how people perceive themselves and each other, how they act and interact, and the distribution of power and resources in society. Gender identity is not confined to a binary (girls/ women, boys/men) nor is it static; it exists along a continuum and can change over time.   Gender discrimination Gender

Myanmar's women

Image
M ost of Myanmar women get married at the age of between 18 to 30.And then they leave their jobs and they stay at home and work household. Men are working outside from moring to evening ina day. Men can earn money but  women can't. Womwen are so busy with household. Husbands become powerful men at home. Whatever men' ideas they want to be, womem have to follow. And then women spent their time only for household such as cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner cleaning home and washing clothes. These jobs are coming only for women. So, they have less time to communicate with others. So, they cannot get any more knowledage. There are a few woman working out in Myanmar. But they get less money than men although they are working the same jobs. May be men get 7000k  but women get 5000k in a day. And then also in education, to attend a college women need better marks  than men. That's why there are so many gender discrimation in Myanmar. Myanmar women are still followers of men.

Don't steroetype people

Image
Don't stereotype me Since we were born,we have been stereotyped according to culture .It define us depond on boys or girls whether we accepted it or not.If you are a man, you have to stay how.Man must be strong. If you are a women, you have to stay how.You must be refined.A stereotype makes people give a definition of other persons who they meet for the first time. We easily decide who people are from their appearance, race, gender, where they were born, what kind of families they grew up in, or if they are rich or not. Some stereotypes can bring some advantages for us. We are able to make good impressions on someone who knew about us before. On the other hand, there are still some shortcomings about stereotypes and it will bring some influences occasionally in our lives. For example, we think that Japanese are polite, French men are romantic or British men are gentlemen. When it comes to gender, most people think men are stronger, the women are careful about details and thoughtful o
